Azcuris develops first-in-class, small-molecule therapeutics designed to target the initiation of immune disease at its source. Our proprietary protein-protein interaction (PPI) inhibitor discovery platform enables us to selectively disrupt the intracellular signaling interactions that drive chronic inflammation, with an initial focus on atopic dermatitis, asthma, and related allergic and inflammatory conditions.

Many high-value immune-inflammatory targets act through flat protein-protein interfaces that conventional high-throughput screening cannot drug. Azcuris prioritizes a fragment-based drug discovery (FBDD) strategy-starting from small chemical fragments that bind shallow sites on these surfaces, then growing them into selective inhibitors with far greater efficiency than traditional screening.
